If you could travel back in time and go through COVID again with what you learned in 2020, what would you do differently? What would be in your COVID-response kit for yourself, for your family and for your communities?
Join us and create community-led solutions to #StaySafeTogether. Here’s how it works:
1. Dream a Solution
From Aug 30 to Oct 23, we want you (and your crew) to use art, creativity, humor, organizing, and more to help us design solutions to #StaySafeTogether through this next leg of COVID—whether online conversations, meme-athons, Tik Tok challenges, policy talks, comedy shows, in person mutual aid events, or whatever you can imagine.

2. Share Your Brilliance
Share your (or your crew’s) solution on social! Post online content using #StaySafeTogether and #DreamathonWA. When you share in the online campaign, your creation may be selected for the campaign’s weekly social media highlights, from Aug 30 through Oct 23, AND, a weekly cash prize—$375 for youth teams, $150 for adult teams.
3. Join the Finale
On October 22-23rd, What the World Needs Now will culminate with a two-day live-streaming event featuring participants in Seattle, Tacoma, Kent, Spokane and across WA state. We’ll see some of what was created, and have a hot lineup of artists, organizers, performers, policymakers, and public health advocates.
4. Help WA State #StaySafeTogether
Watch for the final report summarizing all of your great ideas. In the weeks after the #DreamathonWA campaign we’ll begin to work on a statewide report out of the community solutions developed, along with pandemic pro tips for quarantine, Delta and other variants, and a roundup of local community resources.

Building on over a year of community-driven public health work, we’re asking and answering BIG questions together:
People of all ages and backgrounds are invited—children, youth, elders, caregivers, single folks, EVERYONE—to dream, draw, build innovative, community-led solutions for the world now—and then spend one day working with public health advocates and artists to share the brilliance.
What the World Needs Now: A Dreamathon is designed to be interactive, multi-lingual and accessible. Expect music, art, performances, games and public health intersecting with play.
